Geological map of London & its Environs, R W Mylne, 1871

The first comprehensive geological map of London and its environs was published in 1856 by Robert Mylne. This 1871 edition of the map has now been re-produced by the BGS.

1:10 000 scale geological maps

Large-scale geological mapping designed for professional use. Maps are either 'Bedrock' (Solid), 'Superficial Deposits' (Drift) or 'Composite' (Bedrock & Superficial or Solid & Drift).
