Bedrock geology map of the United Kingdom and Ireland 1:1 250 000k published in May 2017, now available as a 1000 piece jigsaw, including a full-size folded copy of the map. Jigsaw finished size 50 x 66 cm (20 x 26”).
The standard version jigsaw cannot be posted outside the UK, you will need to order the letterbox version for delivery outside the UK.
The map shows the bedrock (solid) geology of Britain and Ireland excluding the Channel Islands, generalised from larger-scale maps and overlaid on shaded relief.
The jigsaw map is intended as a teaching resource, suitable for a wide range of educational purposes and was designed in collaboration with the Earth Science Teachers Association and the Geographical Association.
